Good Friday March is April 6
Every year, activists take to the streets to mark the crucifixion day and note how peoples' suffering continues. They mix bible quotes with facts and figures from today's problems, and it's pretty effective. Besideas, they are good people to know. They write:

Walk with us this Friday, April 6 Good Friday Walk to remember Jesus' teachings on the day of his death

10:00am Gathering at Young and Harwood at the chapel garden at First Presbyterian Church - reflection by Rev. Joe Clifford of First Presbyterian: 1 Corinthians 1: 18-25. "Are we perishing or are we being saved?"
10:15am The walk begins
10:20am "Who do we walk with?" A meditation and walk instructions based on the words of Dr. Ruben Habito delivered at our 2010 Good Friday Walk. Main Street Park, Harwood at Commerce/Main
10:35am "Healing our broken world." A meditation on wealth, greed, inequality and violence. Pegasus Plaza, Main at Akard.
Between 10:45am and 11:00am Arrive at the flagpole in front of City Hall for final remarks and prayer from Rev. Eric Folkerth of Northaven United Methodist Church.
Take public transportation: Light rail stops at the St. Paul station (6 blocks from First Presbyterian) with bus service down Harwood. The Convention Center station is close to City Hall for return trips. For more details and trip planning assistance, go to: DART.
