I can't go on Walmart property until after their lawsuit gets dismissed, but I've been asked to lead union singers on sidewalks nearby.
Anyway, in preparation for Walmart serenading, I wrote the song below. It's on YouTube, where I usually put songs I wrote.
Working at Walmart
We're working at Walmart, doing our small part
To add more bigness to the biggest company...
To pile up riches for the richest family
first verse:
They've got the gold they say, to live in golden towers
But they got by holding our pay, and messing with our hours
We're working at walmart...
Second verse:
We could pay the rent, if we lived in Boy Scout camps
And we could pay for food, if they'd give us more food stamps
We're working at Walmart...
Third verse:
They often take the time, to give us all their thanks
But we'd rather have a dime, that we could put in banks
We're working at walmart...
The best guitar chord sequence I've come up with is g/A/D G/EM/A/D/G etc
